Wedding Day Cakes!


I've always had a thing for cake.

Chocolate, vanilla, Strawberry, marble, fruit... You name it!


When it comes to weddings, undoubtedly one of the key items of the day is the wedding cake!

The colors, the shape, the presentation, the taste all come into play when you pick your wedding day cake.

Growing up in Nigeria, (and traditionally in the UK) most wedding cakes, are fruit cakes. However, in the USA you have the luxury of choosing whatever type or flavor you want to serve your guests.


Here are a few guidelines for choosing your wedding day cake!

*Avoid Nuts and Nut flavored cakes ( some guests might have nut-allergies!)
*I typically would say stay away from chocolate (Not everyone loves chocolate and some have allergies too)


*If having an outdoor wedding, Fondant icing is best ( Butter cream would melt easily, depending on the temperature)
*Your wedding cake should taste as delicious as it actually looks!
