Wedding Dress Trend- 2012

The Horsehair Trim- No worries, it's synthetic! Often used on underskirts, the horsehair is now lavishly looped sash or a bodice detail on dresses. Dramatically adding volume and dimension giving a modern textural look.

The Lace Sleeves- a sleeker, more contemporary version of the engulfed young Pricess Diana so many years ago. The regal look has become the trend inspired by Kate Middleton and what she might have worn.

The Blush- Going against the traditional white or ivory hue has until recently seemed rather odd. This season, blush and pink shades appeared on dozens of runways, marking it's official debut as a wedding gown hue!

The Two-Tiered Skirts- This season, the peplum detail from previous seasons have been exaggerated and this time look ubberfab! Best way to camouflage wider hips.

The Illusion Necklines- A sheer and often embellished layer of fabric
Veils skin that would otherwise be exposed. Great alternative to the
"Bolero"! Takes trashy to classy :)

The Fringe: Not just on cowgirls anymore, now on wedding dresses!

The Cape: Great Cover-up!

The Cap-Sleeve: Elegant!
