The Varela + Brooks ; designer duo first runner-up in prestigious Texas’ Next Top Designer competition, women's wear label launched in January 2011. This ready-to-wear label accommodates not only women whose discriminating tastes won’t settle for the standard off-the-shelf fashion and who are seeking a more exclusive design, but also the countless women who face challenges regarding fit or style. Varela + Brooks features a unique collection of cocktail and evening dresses, separates and outerwear for women.  They also create special one-of-a-kind custom pieces. It reflects the individual inspirations and personalities of its two fresh designers: the structured, tailored sensibility of Isabel and the romantic, whimsical softness of Ashlee.
